Zumba and Zumbalates
Invented by a celebrity fitness trainer Alberto "Beto" Perez, Zumba is an aerobic style of fitness program which combines Latin and international music with dance in an effort to make exercise fun. Relying on specific music and rhythm, Zumba exercises target every major muscle group in the body. The Zumba program borrows its dance and music styles from Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Tango, Belly dancing, Chachacha, and Samba.
Zumbalates is a calorie-burning, strengthening of the body and enrgizing form of exercise. It combines the fast and slow rhythms and resistance training of Zumba routines to help sculpt your body and burn calories with the toning and core strengthening exercises of Pilates.
Our Zumbalates classes feature half hour of Zumba and half hour of Pilates in order to achieve the best possible results for this form of exercise.
